Plastic Recycling Washing Lines

URIDGE designs and builds plastic recycling washing lines for post-consumer PET bottle recycling. A typical line covers sorting, label removal, hot washing, friction washing, rinsing and drying to produce clean, sorted flakes, and is configured to your feedstock, contamination level, target flake quality and output requirement.

Overview

A plastic recycling washing line cleans post-consumer plastic waste and turns it into sorted, washable flakes ready for downstream recycling. A typical line moves material through sorting, label removal, hot washing, friction washing, rinsing and drying, removing labels, adhesives, caps and other contamination along the way.

The washing lines on this page are configured for post-consumer PET bottles, built to the feedstock, contamination level, target flake quality and output the customer requires. Clean PET flakes can then move to downstream recycling processes such as pelletizing or IV upgrading.
