Complete PET Bottle Washing and Pelletizing Line – Manaus, Brazil

Equipment Supplied
1,000 kg/h PET Bottle Washing Line and 600 kg/h PET Pelletizing Line
Project Overview
URIDGE supplied an integrated PET bottle recycling system for a customer in Manaus, Brazil. The project combines a PET bottle washing line rated at 1,000 kg/h with a PET pelletizing line rated at 600 kg/h, creating a complete process from post-consumer PET bottles to recycled PET pellets.
The customer manufactures household and consumer products, including brooms, soap products and plastic bottles. The recycling system allows the customer to process waste PET bottles into non-food-grade recycled PET pellets for use in its own plastic bottle production.
The equipment was purchased in 2025, and on-site installation began in mid-August 2026.

Equipment and Engineering Scope
URIDGE provided the following equipment and engineering services:
- 1,000 kg/h PET bottle washing and recycling line
- 600 kg/h PET pelletizing line
- On-site factory survey
- Factory and production-line layout design
- Process-water piping design
- Electrical-system and circuit design
- Wastewater-treatment equipment
- Water-circulation system
The washing, pelletizing, water-treatment and utility systems were planned as one coordinated production project for the customer’s factory.
Installation and Commissioning
Two URIDGE technicians travelled to Manaus to carry out the on-site installation and commissioning. The assignment lasted approximately one month and covered equipment installation, system checks, start-up and commissioning.
The installation and commissioning were completed successfully. The customer was satisfied with both the implementation process and the operating result.

Project Outcome
The completed system gives the customer an integrated route for converting waste PET bottles into non-food-grade recycled PET pellets. The 1,000 kg/h washing line prepares the recovered PET material for downstream processing, while the 600 kg/h pelletizing line converts the prepared material into pellets for the customer’s own plastic bottle production.
The project also includes wastewater-treatment and water-circulation systems, together with plant, piping and electrical planning for the installation site.
