Plastic Pipe Extrusion Lines
URIDGE designs and builds plastic pipe extrusion lines for HDPE pipe production. Lines can run single-layer or multi-layer co-extrusion structures for water supply, gas distribution, sewage and industrial piping, configured to your pipe size, application and output requirements.
Overview
Choosing a plastic pipe extrusion line comes down to the pipe material, the duty the pipe must meet, and whether a single- or multi-layer wall best balances performance against material cost. Single-layer pipe uses one material through the wall and suits straightforward applications, while multi-layer co-extrusion lets different materials be combined across the wall so a recycled or lower-cost core can sit beneath a virgin HDPE surface where outer-layer quality and resistance are required. URIDGE configures each line around your application, size and output rather than offering one fixed machine, and HDPE is the material currently supported.

URIDGE pipe extrusion lines are currently built for HDPE. HDPE pipe serves a wide range of duties, and the line is configured to the service the pipe must meet:
- Water supply and distribution
- Gas pipelines
- Sewage and drainage
- Industrial piping for chemical and mining use
- Irrigation
- Cable ducting and conduit pipe applications
Single-Layer or Multi-Layer Pipe Extrusion
Single-layer pipe is the straightforward option when one material meets the whole wall. Multi-layer co-extrusion becomes worth considering when you want to separate the roles across the wall — a recycled or lower-cost material can sit in an inner or core layer while virgin HDPE forms the outer surface where appearance, UV and long-term resistance matter, so the pipe keeps the surface performance the application demands while material cost is optimized. Common layer arrangements such as ABA and ABCBA are examples of this principle. The exact structure, sizes and output are set for your pipe duty and confirmed during quotation.
How We Configure a Plastic Pipe Extrusion Line
Every line is engineered around the customer's requirements. To recommend the right configuration, we ask for:
- Pipe material
- Pipe application
- Single-layer or multi-layer structure
- Required pipe diameter range
- Wall thickness
- Target output
- Recycled or virgin material strategy
- Factory space and layout
- Downstream requirements
Diameter, wall thickness and output are treated as your requirements, so the line can be sized correctly rather than matched to a fixed model.
