250 kg/h HDPE Pipe Extrusion Line for Recycled Material – Lima, Peru

Project Overview

URIDGE supplied and commissioned a 250 kg/h HDPE pipe extrusion line for an experienced pipe manufacturer in Lima, Peru. The production line was configured to process prepared recycled HDPE material into HDPE pipes while providing stable operation and straightforward production control.

The customer had worked in the pipe industry for many years and had extensive knowledge of pipe production technology. After first meeting URIDGE at CHINAPLAS in Shanghai, the customer evaluated our company, technical capabilities and equipment solutions for more than two years before placing the order.

Customer Requirements

As an experienced pipe producer, the customer had clear requirements for the line configuration and selected several key component brands. The project needed to meet the following requirements:

• Process prepared recycled HDPE material
• Reach a target production capacity of approximately 250 kg/h
• Provide stable material feeding and drying
• Use SHINI loading and drying equipment
• Use ABB variable-frequency drives
• Use a Siemens PLC with a simple and intelligent operator interface
• Complete factory trial running and inspection before shipment

Production Line Configuration

The complete line combines material preparation, extrusion and downstream pipe forming in one coordinated system. Its principal sections include:

Material Handling and Intelligent Control

The customer specifically requested SHINI equipment for material loading and drying. This configuration supports consistent transfer and preparation of the recycled HDPE material before it enters the extrusion process.

ABB variable-frequency drives provide adjustable motor-speed control, while the Siemens PLC and touchscreen interface centralize operating settings and production monitoring. The control arrangement was selected to keep daily operation simple and clear for the production team.

Factory Trial Before Shipment

The photographs on this page were taken at the URIDGE factory after the production line had completed trial running and inspection, and before the equipment was packed and shipped to Peru. The complete equipment arrangement was checked as an integrated line before delivery.
